What’s included in every price
- Loading. I do all the lifting, from anywhere in the property.
- Disposal at licensed sites, with a waste transfer note if you need one.
- Usable items passed on to local charities where possible.
- A sweep-up after.
- No VAT on top. Morgs Moves isn't VAT registered, so the price is the price.
Heavy loads: Heavy stuff like soil, rubble and bricks fills the weight allowance before it fills the space. I'll tell you from the photo if your load is going to be heavy, so there are no surprises on the day.
The price I quote is the price you pay.
Items that cost extra
These cost more because the tip or recycler charges me for them separately. I’ll always tell you up front.
| Item | Extra charge | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Fridges & freezers | Ask for price | Gas has to be removed safely at a licensed site. |
| Mattresses | Ask for price | The tip charges per mattress. |
| TVs & monitors | Ask for price | Electricals have to go to a specialist recycler. |
| Tyres | Ask for price | Tyres can't go in general waste and are charged per tyre. |
| Sofas, armchairs & other upholstered items | Ask for price | By law, upholstered furniture has to be burned at special sites, not landfilled, because of chemicals in the foam and fabric. That costs more to get rid of. |
