The man with the van
I’m Morgan. I started Morgs Moves after finding out first-hand how hard it can be to get rid of waste properly and safely. I wanted to help the local area with that, and build a family business of my own.
Before that I spent eight years as a mechanical engineer, and I run every job the same way. Planned properly, there when I said, no corners cut. Message Morgs Moves and you get me, not a call centre. You get a price from your photos, and everything goes to licensed sites. Anything still usable goes to local charities.

How do I get a quote?
Send me a few photos on WhatsApp, through the quote form or by email. I'll send a fixed price back. No site visit needed.
How much does it cost?
It depends how much of my 14 cubic yard van you fill. Mini load (1 cubic yard) £99, Small load (2 cubic yards) £149, Medium load (4 cubic yards) £219, Large load (7 cubic yards) £299, XL load (10 cubic yards) £389, Full load (14 cubic yards) £499. Each cubic yard includes up to 75kg. Fridges, mattresses, TVs, tyres and upholstered furniture cost extra because the tip charges me for them.
Is the price fixed?
Yes. The price you're quoted from your photos is the price you pay. If what's there matches the photos, there are no extras on the day.
Is it cheaper than a skip?
For a lot of household jobs it is. You don't need a permit or space on the drive, and you don't load it yourself.
Are you licensed?
Yes. Morgs Moves is a registered waste carrier, licence number CBDU032756. Waste transfer notes are available on request.
What happens to my rubbish?
Usable items go to local charities where possible, and the rest is recycled or disposed of at licensed facilities.
Which areas do you cover?
Cardiff, Pontypridd, Pontyclun, Llantrisant, Talbot Green, Beddau, Bridgend, Barry, Newport, Swansea and the surrounding areas across South Wales.
Do I need to be home?
Not always. If I can get to it, in a front garden, on the drive or with keys left for me, I can collect while you're out.
What can't you take?
Hazardous waste such as asbestos, clinical waste, gas bottles and chemicals. If you're unsure, send a photo and ask.
